Welcome to The Hair Studio at Little Bird

At The Hair Studio, we treat your children like our own, providing a calming and safe experience for every guest. Our stylists offer quality haircuts as well as fun add-ons like fairy hair tinsel, feather extensions, semi-permanent color, and more.

We know haircuts can be scary for some little ones, so we strive to make each visit fun and enjoyable. Our extra quiet blow dryers, soft trimmers, and gentle hands soothe nervous kids. Children can watch a favorite show on our iPads while they sit in a special VW bus or fire engine seat or on a standard salon chair. Parents and guardians are welcome to sit nearby to offer reassurance if needed. Every child is different, and the experience they receive from our stylists is tailored to fit their needs.

The Hair Studio at Little Bird welcomes children from birth up to 17 years of age. Our space and staff are accommodating for all guests—no matter what their needs might be. Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns prior to or during your visit. We look forward to seeing you soon

Dana Glista

Hair Studio Manager

Dana attended the Aveda Institue of Denver in 2007. She began her career with hands on advanced training. She has taken numerous classes and found her passion of precision cutting and sculpting curly hair. Working behind the chair and managing at The Hair Studio at Little Bird has become an unexpected passion. Children are hilarious and honest and it makes her time behind the chair with them so fun. Sure there are challenges (kiddos not always wanting a haircut) but she loves helping families and getting the job done by listening and caring. In her free time, she loves spending time with her family and friends. She and her husband are having fun sharing their love of live music with their daughter Sunshine. She has seen Phish live twice in two different states (so far).

    Lilian has been at The Hair Studio at Little Bird for over two years. She is terrific at braiding and special occasion hair styles. She lives in Denver and has two young girls.

    Alisha has been cutting adult and kids hair for over 14 years. She loves connecting with kids at the Hair Studio at Little Bird because “kids are our future, and they are smart, funny and joyful!” She has 4 children of her own that she loves spending time with.
